Following months searching for the ideal workspace AYO Media are pleased to have commissioned a unique top floor office and be the first company to move into the £9.9m Northern Design Centre. Our bespoke 2,200 square-foot premises provides the perfect base for our rapidly growing team and reinforces our position as one of the leading digital agencies in the North East.

The new office is open plan with multiple breakout areas and 2 meeting rooms integrated within the space.  

Rob Mathieson commented “Our new space is three times the size we had in the GIBC which was three times the size of when we started AYO Media back up in July 2008 with just the three directors – three seems to be a significant number for AYO Media as we’ve recently recruited three apprentices to join our growing company. The Northern Design Centre is the perfect environment for our team to continue to deliver cutting edge solutions for our clients and for AYO Media to continue to expand in 2012 and beyond.”

Gateshead Council leader Mick Henry who joined our three directors for a photo shoot at the new building said: “The Northern Design Centre is purpose-built for innovative, creative, fast expanding businesses like AYO Media who are a great accolade for the region.”

The Northern Design Centre, home of the new AYO Media base is built over 4 floors on 60,000 square feet of land; the design is complete with stainless steel mesh and oval windows. The centre has various facilities at our disposal such as vast exhibition space, conferencing facilities, a theatre and board rooms complete with the latest audio visual technologies. A great start for the new chapter in AYO Media’s journey.
