Live Newcastle is a North East based organisation which provides residents and visitors to the city of Newcastle with the very best of the city. AYO Media were approached by Live Newcastle to create a strong brand along with an online solution which would appeal to both the general public and partners of the Live Newcastle service.

AYO Media was requested to research into how the business could use digital marketing techniques to promote the best businesses in Newcastle, both to the general public and visitors to the North East. The client required branding, a website and creative designs for offline marketing materials.It was essential that the site was easy to navigate so a huge focus was placed on the user experience. Search Engine Optimisation was an important factor for the partners who were particularly interested in targeting tourists, as well as attracting local residents and students.

It was essential to work closely with Live Newcastle to understand their company and their objectives. The time spent with the client gave AYO Media valuable insight to the business and how this should be presented online.The design and developed a solution incorporated engaging creative design with a fully functional website. The project build consisted of a secure content management system, accessible by all the Live Newcastle partners, granting them the ability to upload new discounts, deals and promotions in an instant.

Live Newcastle is part of MiniG Media Ltd, founded by Jonathan Grubin who was last year shortlisted for the North East Young Business Person of the Year Award. Live Newcastle is launching in July 2009 and aims to offer its members huge discounts at the best restaurants, bars, cafes, nightclubs and entertainment venues the city of Newcastle has to offer.
