Young Entrepreneur Alexis Smith alongside business advisory group RMT and Newcastle Science City selected AYO Media from a shortlist of agencies to deliver her online lingerie store.
Alexis had spent many years researching the market and developing her own brand of underwear which is specially designed to fit women who have undergone breast augmentation.
Currently, in the UK, there are thought to be around 240,000 women that have had breast enlargements, with around 40,000 people being added to this figure every year.
With predicted annual turnover of £1m by 2014 Alexis doesn’t intend on stopping her product with the UK market, she is confident that her brand has the potential to be expanded in the US and South American markets such as Brazil and Venezuela, which has the second highest number of breast augmentation operations in the world behind the US.
AYO Media designed and developed a fully content managed website giving the Alexis Smith team complete control over all elements of the website.
The site has been developed in such a way to allow the client the ability to alter VAT rates, shipping criteria, generate discount codes or integration with PayPal, Google Checkout and various other payment gateways.
Alexis Smith commissioned AYO Media to design a brand to compliment her luxury, yet affordable lingerie range. The brand needed to sit comfortably within an established industry and seamlessly translate onto offline literature such as price tags and labels.
